It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Sly of Eddyville, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Sly to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel May Poe (Ross) and Oscar E. Poe; her husband Berthold "Bert" Lee Sly; and her siblings, Frances Van Genderen, Thelma Reissig, Alma Derry and Ervan Poe.
She is survived by: her son Randall Sly of Sacramento, CA; her sister Yvonne De Witt of Blakesburg; and her half-siblings, Susie Poe, Melissa Heasly, Bud Poe and Larry Poe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for funeral expenses, and mailed to the Eddyville Funeral Chapel, 216 Walnut St. Eddyville, Iowa 52553.
