He was predeceased by: his father James Knipper; his grandparents, Laverne, Alice Knipper, Marvin and Olga Helle; his niece Karli Rose Hoeger; his nephew Reece James Knipper; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Verna Greenwood.
He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Knipper (Helle) of Earlville; his wife Becky Greenwood of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Allison (Justin Krapfl) of Earlville, Erin of Earlville and Dylan Knipper of Earlville; his siblings, Angie Ries (Dan) of Manchester, Peggy Hildebrand (Joe) of Manchester, Pete Knipper (Amanda) of Earlville and Luke Knipper (Dawn) of Earlville; and his in-laws, Dennis Greenwood (Sue) of Dyersville, Deb Pins (Joe) of Earlville and Chris Greenwood of Farley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kramer Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Earlville (307 Mary St, Earlville, IA 52041). A burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (20172 St Joseph's Dr, Durango, IA 52039).
