We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 66, Marilyn Rose Althoff of Earlville, Iowa, born in Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthias Ronnebaum and Alberta Ronnebaum (Holtz); her in-laws, Ted and Leona Althoff; her siblings, Leon "Butchie" Ronnebaum, Elizabeth "Betty" Lendt and Robert "Bob" Ronnebaum; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Reth and Dan Kaiser.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Althoff of Earlville; her children, Tammy March of Earlville, Shannon Althoff (Deanne) of Delhi, Joshua Althoff of Delhi and Max Gordon (Nilza) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Briana Ries (Kobe), Shelby March (Drew Gravel), Anthony March (Claire Peyton), Aubrie Althoff, Emalynn Althoff, Mateo Gordon and Paolo Gordon; her sisters, Dianne Oberbroeckling (Bill) of Manchester, Karen Mensen (Dave) of Delhi and Donna Poehnelt of Manchester; her siblings-in-law, Darrell Lendt (Norita) of Manchester, Fred Althoff (Joan) of Peoria and Mary Althoff; and also Baby Ries. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She and Gary traveled to 49 of the 50 states, only missing Alaska as their cruise was canceled due to Covid.
