It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille E. Smock of Earlville, Iowa, born in Scotch Grove, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bartels and Emma Bartels (Heeren); her husband Merle Smock; her son Allen; and her sister Elinor Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Hutchcroft (Bob) of Bellevue, Dale Smock (Louise) of Earlville and Donna Bolsinger of Manchester, Iowa; her grandchildren, Ryan Hutchcroft (Nicole), Nicole Brenny (Mark), Nick Smock (Macy), Troy Smock (Alexa), Sadie Bolsinger and Cole Bolsinger; and her great grandchildren, Xander, Ryder, Asher, Isabelle, Rilynn, Brooklyn and Axl.
