Leo Francis Goldsmith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2018, at the age of 87, Leo Francis Goldsmith (Earlville, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Goldsmith and Mary Goldsmith; his wife Doris Jean Goldsmith; his grandson Austin Goldsmith; his brothers, Helen Bush, Cecelia Dudley, Nellie Fergeseon, Rose Goegel, Matilda Goldsmith, Ada Hawkinson, Florence Henkel, Marieta Knospie, Thomas Goldsmith and Bernard Goldsmith; his parents-in-law, Tim Gibbs and Hazel Gibbs; and his sister-in-law Bernadine Lann.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Gates (Gary) of Hopkinton, Sue Miles (Joel) of Hopkinton, Jeff Goldsmith (Pam) of Delhi, Bruce Goldsmith (Amy) of Earlville, Anthony "Grover" Goldsmith (Ellen) of Manchester, Tom Goldsmith (Sue) of Dyersville and Gary Goldsmith (Lana) of Iowa City; his significant other Joan Lahr of Hopkinton; and his brother Al Goldsmith (Marjorie). He is also survived by three grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Duff's name.
