He is survived by: his children, Rodney Nefzger (Connie) of Earlville, Patti Hoeger (Gary) of Earlville, Brian Nefzger (Lori Fowlkes) of Dyersville and Brenda Elgin (Terry) of Earlville; his grandchildren, Heather Grover (Jared), Harley Nefzger (Mandy), Holly Chesnut (Jeff), Heidi Hoeger (Jeremy Putz), Chris Hoeger (Caitlin Schuman), Trevor Elgin (Maggie McGrane), Brooke Elgin and Trista Elgin; his great grandchildren, Kaela, Kylie and Lukas Chesnut; his siblings, Theresa Boge of Earlville, Jim Nefzger (Lillian) of Delhi, Allie Nefzger of Earlville, Jerry Nefzger (Susan) of Delhi and Mary Kay Turnis of Manchester; and his siblings-in-law, John Leytem of Hopkinton, Jennifer Felton (Don) of Hopkinton and Kim Hunt (Roger) of Earlville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
