He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold Maiers and Grace Maiers (Schirmer); his wife Dottie; and his brother Jerome. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Winter (Ralph) of New Vienna, Bob Maiers (Lisa) of Earlville and Larry Maiers (Ann) of Earlville; his grandchildren, Chris Winter (Mandie), Tim Winter (Amanda), Steve Winter (Abbie), Aimee Winter, Maria Mensen (Matt), Susan Winter, Abby Loch (Jaimie), Andrew Maiers, Amanda Martin (Cory), Nathan Maiers (Serica Rowley), Mikala Maiers and Matthew Maiers; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Deutmeyer (Jared), David Trenkamp, John Trenkamp and Catherine Trenkamp; his sister Marilyn Weber of Earlville; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Maiers, Kay Naber, Rita Willenbring and Kay Steffen. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
