He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Althoff and Rose Althoff (Morman); his daughter-in-law Kim Althoff; his siblings, Ted Althoff (Leona), Sylvester Althoff (Alice), Ambrose Althoff, James Althoff and Verna Mae Henkels (John); and his brother-in-law Ben Zuecher.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Althoff of Earlville, IA; his children, Ken Althoff (Mary) of Strawberry Point, IA, Wayne Althoff of Dyersville, IA, Richard Althoff (Vicki) of Strawberry Point, IA, Elaine White of Dubuque, IA, Rose Bryant (Gary) of Dickyville, WI, Sandy Bockenstedt (Arnold) of Delhi, IA and Bonnie McAllister (Pat) of Dubuque, IA; and his sister Mildred Zuecher of Elkader, IA.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
