It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane F. Dunkel of Earlville, Iowa, born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on September 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Matas and Patricia Matas (Clark); her children-in-law, Shari Dunkel and Brian Waechter; and her parents-in-law, Jim, Bernard, Nick, Laverne, Henry Dunkel, Helen Bonert, Ruth Stronck and Eileen Sperfslage.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert "Nic" Dunkel (Pam) of Black Earth, WI, Henry Dunkel (Jan Kuffer) of McKean, PA, Randy Dunkel (Nicole), David Dunkel (Cindy) of Dyersville, Kathy Waechter of Waterloo, Susan Huber (Brad) of Hopkinton, Debra Masbruch (Curt) of Hartland, WI and Emily Dunkel; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Vorwald. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
She donated her time to many other organizations and functions through the years.
