He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Howell (McCorkle) and Aaron Howell; his son Craig Alan Howell; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Kirtz Jolly.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Esther Jolly of Pleasantville, Iowa.; his children, Marcia Anker (Jeff) and Jeff Howell (Annette); his grandchildren, Kelyn Anker, Sutton Anker (Ben Eisenberg), Kelsey Miller-Overton (Derek), Katie Franck (Travis), Lanson Howell, Carrie Wright (Travis) and Josh Howell (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Ariana, Esten, Molly, Brian and Hannah; his siblings, Duane Howell (Dorothy), Gary Howell (Deborah) and Karen Van Essen; his sister-in-law Ruth Knapman; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends.
