He is survived by: his wife Marcia Lenze; his mother Joan Carey of Winterset; his stepchildren, Anne Llewellyn (Jason) of Des Moines and Anthony Morische of Nora Springs; his granddaughter Taylor Llewellyn; his siblings, Jim Carey (Donna), Marla Luhrs (Dale) and Denise Wade (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Jason Carey (Jessica), James Carey (Emilie), Dj Luhrs (Stacy), Dani Luhrs (Mike Briggs) and Marcus Wade IV; and his mother-in-law Sue Lenze. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
