He was predeceased by: his parents, LeVern Schwery and Cecelia Schwery (Petsche); his brother James; his daughter Glorianna Schwery; his former wife Kim Salters; his wife Anna Hogan; his siblings, Carol Vonnahme and Galen Schwery (Betty); his brother-in-law Virg Hugeback; and his brother Richard Schwery.
He is survived by: his children, Abby Renze (Ryan) and Calvin Schwery (Rachel); his grandchildren, Aubrey and Maxwell Renze; his siblings, Nancy Hugeback, Mark Schwery (Betty), Roger Schwery (Sue), Dale Schwery (Sue) and Jerry Vonnahme; and his stepchildren, Brian Rogers and Kelly Frietsch (Chuck).
