He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude I. Burr and Anneva L. Burr (Brownfield); his brother Larry Gene; and his son-in-law Thomas Bachel. He is survived by: his children, Diana Bachel, Peggy Burres (Kevin) and Nick Burr (Delphine) of Pass Christian, MS; his grandchildren, Rodney Bachel (Ashley), Bryan Bachel (Courtney), Sheri Hawley (Lance), Aaron Burres (Beth), Megan Severson (Joshua), Jenna Whipple (Zachary) and Jared Burres (Kelsey); and his sister Karen Powell (Keith) of Davenport, FL.. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
