It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Barnes of Eagle Grove, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Helen Smith (Grimm); her husband George Barnes; her son Robert Barnes; her brother Raymond Smith; and her brother-in-law Vernon Soderstrom.
She is survived by: her son Ed Barnes (Missi) of Goldfield; her grandson Todd Wieth (Cassie) of Goldfield; her great grandchildren, Andrew and Audrey Wieth; her sister Alta Soderstrom of Boone; and her sister-in-law Mildred Smith of Stanhope. She is also survived by one niece; four nephews.
