He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Banwell and Anne Banwell (Croft); and his brothers, Arlan and Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Clair; his siblings, John Banwell (Cassie) of Newton, Arvilla Dencklau (Regie) of Clarion and Vicki Smith of Rochester, MN; and his nephew Robert Lunda of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
