He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Larson and Irene Hazel Larson (Sheppler); his siblings, Rodney Larson and Betty Kessner (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Vaughan and Leo Nelson.
He is survived by: his spouse Cassondra "Cass" Vaughan Nelson; his children, Christy Mueller (Dave), Laurie Legvold (Jim), Jim Larson (Tomajean) and Ted Larson (Holly); his grandchildren, Marcus Brock (Sara), Danielle Kennedy (Justin), Brett Legvold (Katie), Connor Larson, Paige Weinschenk (Evan) and Kenady Highland; his great grandchildren, Logan Fox, Lucas, Leyton Brock, Carter, Owen Brock, Cooper, Sawyer, Monroe Legvold, Jade and Declan Kennedy; and his sisters-in-law, Trudy Larson, Jerry Nelson and Anita Idio (Dindo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
