It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dawley of Eagle Grove, Iowa, born in Floyd, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Dawley and Irmel Dawley (Bonsall); his wife Arlene (Valeske); and his siblings, Bonnie Kruse and Lowell Dawley.
He is survived by: his close friend Charlotte Honkomp; his daughters, Debra Green (Jerry) of Earlham and Connie Curtis (Dan) of Elkhart; and his grandchildren, Chad Dannewitz, Cole Dannewitz, Christine Copeland (Mark), Josh Curtis (Audra), Joe Curtis (Kristina) and Alex Curtis (Emily). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
