She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex "Sander" and Lillian Schnell (Williams); her son Darwin; and her siblings, Roger Schnell, Betty Shirley, Dorothy Reichter and Margery Trask.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Darrel (Cindy) of Cedar Rapids, Darin (Judy) of Ames and DeEtta Rosa (Jack) of Grimes; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Andrea, Troy, Ashley, Jessica, Alexandra, Addyson, Kade and Tyler. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
