He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Gustafson; his grandparents, Reuben, Gwen Gustafson, Everett and Helen Danielson; his great-grandparent Bertha Walgren; his cousin Bob Eich; his uncle Bart Danielson; his grandparents-in-law, Gene, Marge Nelson, Marvin and Chloe Smith; and his nephew Arek "Ace" Asklund.
He is survived by: his wife Roz Nelson; his mother Jo Gustafson; his sister Chrisann Hodson (Alan); his nieces, HannahJo Gustafson-Hodson and Elizabeth Hodson (Wyatt Thornton); his nephew Adam Hodson; his son Drake Oldson (Makayla); his grandchild Brynlee; his stepdaughters, Josie Rivera and Jade Wozab; his grandchildren, Atlis Rivera Walters and Athena Montgomery; his in-laws, Mike Nelson and Kerrie Eivins; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Morford, Joe Morford, Reia Scearcy (Earl), London Nelson and Brittany Corkery. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foust Funeral Home (1115 SW 2nd St, Eagle Grove, IA 50533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (615 SW 2nd St, Eagle Grove, IA 50533).
