She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Kurfman and Ida Kurfman (Gleckler); her husband Duane "Bill" Olson; her son Steven; and her brothers, Richard Kurfman, Roger Kurfman and Warren Kurfman.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Helmke of Eagle Grove, Sheila Merrell (Bert) of St. Louis, MO, David Olson (Larayne) of Sioux City and Annette Rust (Jeff) of Littleton, CO; her daughter-in-law Juanita Rivera Olson of Kapaau, HI; her siblings, Leah Knight of Palmyra, MO, Carolyn Roseberry of Souderton, PA and Wendell Kurfman (Connie) of Belleville, IL; and her sister-in-law Patricia Lenz of Story City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
