He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oak and Irene Helen Chapman (Dorr); his wife Mary Garbier; his daughter Lorrie Wallentine; and his brother James Chapman.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Sunner; his children, David Chapman (Angela) of Charles City, IA, Christopher Chapman (Rosita) of Henderson, NV and Elizabeth Sheiner (Chad) of Arvada, CO; his son-in-law Robert Wallentine Jr. of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Rita Becker (Peter), Jacob Wallentine (Kylee), Jonathan Chapman, Joshua Wallentine (Madeline), Roman and Ari Sheiner; his great grandchildren, Montgomery and Evelyn Becker; and his brothers, Jerry Chapman (Jan) of Rogers, MN and Rich Chapman (Mary) of Billings, MT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
