Roger Bottema Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Bottema (Dysart, Iowa), who passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bottema and Sophia Bottema (Pecenka); his brother Michael; and his stepgrandson Ryan Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Dostal Busch of Dysart; his stepdaughters, Andrea Jordan (Rich) of Marshalltown, Cynthia Eggers (Barry) of Traer and Melissa Sienknecht (Randy) of Gladbrook; his grandchildren, Kyle, Blake, Justina, Alyssa, Trey, Adelyn, Alaney and Ashton; and his sister Marlene Bottema of Arizona.
Roger died at the age of 79 on April 20, 2022, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer from complications of Parkinson's Disease.
