He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Steele Coleman; and his sister Eleanor. He is survived by: his wife Betty Snow; and his children, Sergeant Major Kelly Coleman (Sheri) of Fredericksburg, Colonel Daniel Coleman (Sara) of Belton, Missouri and Wendy Coleman of Wilmette, Illinois. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
