He is survived by: his wife Anita Bartholomew of Traer; his children, Jennifer Herker of Urbandale and Stephan Herker (Erica) of Mesa, AZ; his grandson Arthur Herker; and his siblings, Don Herker of Clear Lake and Beth Ann Schumacher (Mark) of Clear Lake.
