He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Heckt and Florance B Heckt (Grimm); and his sister Colleen. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Heckt (Bryan); his sons, Bill Heckt (Linda Meyer) of Clutier and Bob Heckt of Dysart; and his grandchildren, Tanner Heckt (Lesa) of Urbandale and Courtney Cochran (Jakeb) of Tiffin.
