Larry K. Winkelpleck Obituary

We bid farewell to Larry K. Winkelpleck (Dysart, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Winkelpleck and Emma Winkelpleck (Raymond); his sisters, Violet Mossman and Dorothy Yates; and his nephew James Mossman.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Saver of Dysart; his sons, Larry Winkelpleck (Donita) of Clutier and Jon Winkelpleck (Suzanne) of Dysart; his grandchildren, Sophie Winkelpleck, Emma Faust (Karter), Gracie Winkelpleck, Luke Winkelpleck and Easton Winkelpleck; his great grandchild Meyer Winkelpleck; his niece Susan Presha; his nephew Steve Burk; his great-nephew Brian Mossman; and his close friend Denver.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (800 S Main St, Dysart, IA 52224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clutier Community Church (301 3rd St, Clutier, IA 52217). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dysart Cemetery (1946 X Ave, Dysart, IA 52224).
