She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thiessen and Mary Thiessen (Junge); her husband Russell Callahan; and her siblings, William, Duane, Marvin, LaVoy and Lavon.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Steinke (Paul), David Callahan (Linda) and Don Callahan (Reta); her grandchildren, Kirk, Darrell, Matthew, Shawn and Katie; her sister Ruth Suchy; and her sister-in-law Marlene Thiessen (Jutta). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dysart United Methodist Church (602 Tilford St, Dysart, IA 52224). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Dysart Cemetery (1946 X Ave, Dysart, IA 52224).
