He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldo Stein and Hilda Stein (Jacobs); his wife Beverly Higgins; and his sister Mardean. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Krause of Marion, Greg Stein (Cathy) of Elberon, Darby Stein (Renee) of Vinton, Randy Stein (June) of Vinton and Pam Lawless (Russ) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews.
