He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Albertsen and Marvel Albertsen (Lamprecht); his wife Eleanor Gimm; his son Dennis; his brother Donald Albertsen; his brothers-in-law, David Pippert, Johnnie Gimm and Richard Eighmey; and his nephews, Craig Albertsen and Jim Eighmey.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Tomlinson (Mark) of Traer, Lori Kruse (Todd) of Tama, Andrea Krafka (Craig) of Dysart and Mark Albertsen of Dysart; his grandchildren, Steffanie Bonnstetter (Kevin), Dallas Tomlinson (Kaitie), Ashley Harris (Nick), Amy Craig, Nicole Krafka, Marcus and Lucas Albertsen; his great grandchildren, Will Tomlinson, Kade, Klay, Kal Bonnstetter and Laurel Harris; his siblings, Boston Eikamp, Brynlee (Josephine Heishman) and Diane Pippert of Garrison; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Albertsen of Van Horne and Marie Eighmey of Denver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund will be established.
