He is survived by: his wife Marge Rethamel; his daughters, Sherry Morales (Jose) of Tulsa and Shelley Caughron (Curtis) of Waterloo; his stepchildren, Deanne Reicks (Gerald) of Johnston, Denise Rethamel of Des Moines, Duane Rethamel (Terrie) of Center Point and Dawn Miller (Dan) of LaPorte City; his grandchildren, Sam Caughron, Beckett Caughron, Griffin Caughron, Macray Caughron, Aebry Caughron, Van Morales, Derek Reicks (Paula) and Alexandra Baltes (Spencer); his great grandchildren, Fiona Reicks, Leonard Reicks and Reece Baltes; and his sisters, Sue Swestka of Cedar Rapids and JoAnn Wurzer (Duane) of Lawler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
