It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darold Laackmann of Dysart, Iowa, born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Laackmann and Rosella Laackmann (Kuhl); and his great-nephew Noah Speck. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Killgore of Cedar Rapids; and his sister Irene Podhajsky (David) of Clutier.
