With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Mable Handley of Dysart, Iowa, born in Dunkerton, Iowa, who passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Trumbauer and Grace Cora Trumbauer (Liebert); her husband Harold Handley; her son Arnold Ahrenholz; and her brother Gary Trumbauer.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Handley Jr. (Cindy Schweitzer) of Elberon, Kandy Ramirez (Dan) of Des Moines, Keli Lindeman (Jason) of Dysart and Randall Ahrenholz of Waterloo; her stepdaughters, Teresa Bleghler (Ron) of Des Moines and Jodi Oltrogge (Bob) of Des Moines; and her siblings, Robert Trumbauer of Waterloo, Alvin Trumbauer of Hazleton, Bonnie Decker of Readlyn and Zelma Jones. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
