He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Schrader and Elizabeth Schrader (Plotz); his son Steve; and his siblings, Chuck, Jim, Joe, Marcella, Esther and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Floyd; his children, Robert Schrader (Mary) of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Janice Stock (Bryant) of Rio Rancho, Lori Lemon of Ankeny and Sandy Sells (Brock) of Ames; his siblings, Harold and Louella; and his grandchildren, Stefanie Steies (Chris), Daniel Schrader (Laura), Jeremy Stock (DeAnn), Casey Preston (Shaka), Megan Reynolds (Brad), Adam Schrader, Maggie Schrader, Travis Lemon (Jess), Brieanna Lemon, Samuel Sells and Madeline Sells. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
