She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenjiro Hyodo and Misao Hyodo; her husband Paul Westmark; her nephew Daniel Bockenstedt; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Westmark, Helen Westmark and Walter Bockenstedt.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Takayoshi Hyodo (Eiko), Yoshinori Horie of Japan, Paul Bockenstedt (Cathy) of Eden Prairie, MN, Ann Rettenmeier (Andy) of Dubuque, Julia Westmark and Theodore Westmark (Alicia); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Iris, Lara Bockenstedt, Daniel Bockenstedt, James and Peter Rettenmeier; her sister-in-law Mary Bockenstedt; her cousin Judy Henke of Dyersville; and her close friends, Don and Dianne Kramer.
