She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Rahe and Marie Rahe (Kronlage); her husband Gerald Burkle; her daughter Jean Naber; her daughter-in-law Deb Burkle; her grandchild Kyle Burkle; her great grandchild Natalie Kluesner; her parents-in-law, Paul and Anna Burkle; her brother Ronald Rahe; and her in-laws, Dena Rahe, Charles Burkle (Luetta), Leon Burkle (Theresa), Lorraine Stephan (Joe), George Burkle (Thelma), Bernard Burkle, Walter Burkle (Verna Mae), Betty and Alvin Hermsen.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Burkle (Danna) of Alamogordo, NM, Randy Burkle of Earlville, Judy Gotto (Dan) of Bankston, Paul Burkle of Bettendorf and Joe Burkle (Julie) of Urbandale; her son-in-law Wayne Naber of Cedar Falls; her siblings, Richard Rahe (Judy) of Dubuque, Paul Rahe (Grace) of Dyersville, Robert Rahe (Rita) of Dyersville, Steve Rahe (Jean) of Earlville, Marilee Stoline (Dean) of Gaithersburg, MD, Connie Wedewer (Paul) of Aurora, CO, Charles Rahe (Bev) of Petersburg, Margie Rahe of Iowa City and Dave Rahe (Melinda) of Georgetown, TX; and her in-laws, Harold Burkle (Gladys) of Dyersville, Doris Hermsen of Dyersville and Lorraine Burkle of Dyersville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kramer Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Basilica (104 3rd St SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St Francis Cemetery (415 8th St NW, Dyersville, IA 52040).
