She is survived by: her husband James Schmitt; her children, Brenda Kiefer (Tony) of Taopi, MN, Russell Benn of Dyersville and Brian Benn (Danielle) of Dyersville; her stepchildren, Jason Jacobs (Ragen), Jeff Schmitt (Beth) and Amy Recker (Terry); her grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey Benn, Erin, Jeremy, Andrea, Amber Kiefer, Carter and Courtney Benn; her siblings, Brian Noethe (Peggy), Carol Ludovissy (Ron), Wayne Noethe, Alice Noethe and Lee Noethe (Becky); and her parents-in-law, Louis Benn (Ruth), George Benn (Linda), Karen Steffensmeier (Dennis) and Margie Benn. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
