She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bockenstedt and Agatha Bockenstedt (Bohnenkamp); her husband John Kirsch; her sons, Nick and David Kirsch; her grandson Grant Henry Kirsch; her siblings, Alice, Clarence (Alice), LaVern "Toby" (Dula), Martin (Virgene) and Eugene; and her parents-in-law, Louise White, LeonaWhite, Alfred Kirsch, Frank Kirsch, Ed Kirsch, Virginia Burger and Ruth Kleis.
She is survived by: her children, Selena "Jane" Thompson (Steve) of Hanover, IN, Carmen Burns of Cedar Rapids, Linda Kirsch (Dan Snyder) of Anamosa, Charlie (Teresa) of Chesterfield, VA, Rob Kirsch (Tiffany) and Judy Kirsch of Dyersville; her grandchildren, Angie, John Purnell, Kerri Kramer (Mike), Brian Kirsch, Krista, Dirk, Emma Snyder, Sammy Kirsch, Allie, Derek Kirsch, Gavin and Brynn Kirsch; and her great grandchildren, Julien, Jude, Sylvia Kramer, Eliza, Fiona and Quinn Dow.
