With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Greg Brimeyer of Dyersville, Iowa, born in North Buena Vista, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brimeyer and Hilda Brimeyer (Tschirgi); his wife Carol; and his siblings, Selma Boyce (Bill), Alvin, Bob (Virginia), Nick Brimeyer (Verna), Stella Hefel (Matt), Mildred Tressel (Norbert), Carol Ellsworth (Rex), Harvey Brimeyer (Shirley) and Earl Brimeyer (LaVonne).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Cathy) of Lubbock, TX, Linda Streck (Ron) of Sycamore, IL and Keith of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Meghan Rupp (Corey) of Anamosa, IA, Lisa Kaminski (Daniel) of St. Charles, IL, Katie Streck of South Elgin, IL, Ashley Hentges (Bryan) of Round Rock, TX, Elizabeth Thompson (Tucker) of Lubbock, TX, Callie Macauley (Liz) of Waterloo, IA and Andrew Brimeyer (Eva) of Iowa City, IA; and his sister Laura Sigwarth (Leon) of Balltown, IA.. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kramer Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
