It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Willenborg of Dyersville, Iowa, born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Willenborg and Mildred Willenborg (Kruse); his daughter Elizabeth Willenborg; his stepmother Alma Schlichte Willenborg; and his stepsiblings, Gary Schlichte and Joyce Goffinet.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Klostermann; his children, Amy, Scott Kluesner and Lance Willenborg; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Eli, Noah Kluesner and Dizney Willenborg; his siblings, Ken (Janice Willenborg), Bob (Sue Willenborg), Joyce (John Tierney), Judy (Curt Keplinger), Bill (Sandi Willenborg), Wilma (Don Rausch), Gene (Tonya Schlichte), Donna (Steve Hunter) and Mark (Maureen Schlichte); and his siblings-in-law, Gerri, Phil Lu, Kay, Al Schilling, Rita Klostermann, Elaine and Jack Schmitt.
Memorials are preferred to St. Francis Xavier School.
