He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef Cielecki and Johanna Cielecki (Werb); and his sister Aurelia. He is survived by: his wife Erna; his children, Mikel Cielecki (Kim), Johanna Anderson and Marc Cielecki (Tammy); his granddaughter Elizabeth Roberts; his great grandchild Wesley; and his sister Eugenia Cosma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bentley Funeral Home (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Durant Ambulance or the Durant Fire Department.
