He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harvey and Mary Alice Ellsworth (Hannah); his sister Sandy Dick; and his half-siblings, Lois Ritter, Betty Dirksen, Lois Riexinger and Jim Ellsworth.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Boecker; his close friend Frank Hamilton; and his brothers, Robert Ellsworth (William Ellsworth) of Durant and Jean Saslawsky of Paris, France. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Durant American Legion or a charity of the donor's choice in Richard's memory.
