He was predeceased by: his parents, Job Jones and Ida Izella Jones (Gedney); his wife Jacquetta "Jackie" Jones; his son Chris Jones; and his siblings, Robert Jones, Muriel Buss and Irene Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Heuer (Mark) of Durant, Grant Jones (Connie) of Sedalia and Kevin Jones (Carol) of Ames, Iowa; and his daughter-in-law Sue Jones. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three great granddaughters.
