LuVerna Schreck Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LuVerna Schreck of Durant, Iowa, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Schlapkohl and Adelia Schlapkohl (Hering); her husband Marlan "Mike" Schreck; her son Kurt; and her siblings, Lester Schlapkohl, Willis Schlapkohl, Mildred Schlapkohl and Dorothy Paulsen.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Schreck of Edmond, Dr. Micheal Schreck (Susan) of Long Grove, Jane Schreck of Jacksonville and Carrie Paustian (Greg) of Dixon, Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
