He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Tisinger and Helen Tisinger (Mohr); his siblings, Wayne and Patricia Kleckner; and his grandson Jason Tisinger.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Clements of Bennett; his children, Timothy Tisinger (Rhonda) of Blue Grass, IA, Thomas Tisinger (Pearl), Robert Tisinger (Shelly), Kenneth Tisinger (Chae), Christine Tisinger, Steven Tisinger (Nina), Deana Cavin (Larry), Mary Best (Frank) and Columbus Jct; and his siblings, Eugene Tisinger of East Stroudsburg, PA, Allen Tisinger of West Branch, IA, Paul Tisinger of Iowa City, IA, Donna Wilkerson of West Branch, IA and Janet Kleckner. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
