Lauretta Giese Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lauretta Giese of Durant, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mangels and Laura Mangels (Sindt); her husband Henry Giese; her children, Arlinda Kilburn and Michael Giese; her sister-in-law Janet Heyden; and her sister Janice Goldermann.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria Haury of Stockton; her grandchildren, Melissa Esbaum (Chad), Geoffrey Giese (Tamee), Angela Bryant (James), Kevin Haury (Shaya Semsch), Scott Kilburn (Kelly) and Lorie McGreevey (Timothy); her great grandchild Terry Esbaum; and her brothers, John Heyden and Larry Heyden (Betty). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or Friends of the Animals in Tipton in her memory.
