He was predeceased by: his parent Eddie Braet. He is survived by: his mother Jackie Braet (Jeys) of Durant; his wife Joanne F. Lopez of Durant; his son Marshall Braet (Jamie) of Belton, MO; his stepdaughter Tiffany Hood of Wilton, IA; his grandchildren, Jayde and Byron Hood; and his siblings, Wayne Braet (Brenda) of Iowa Falls and Sara Schiller of West Union.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home - Durant (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747).
