He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Boldt and Margaret Boldt (Woehrle); his brothers, Robert (Betty Boldt), Harold Boldt and Donald Boldt; his parents-in-law, Everett and Annabelle Peeters; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Peeters, Steve Peeters, Richard Porstmann and Nancy McCoy.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Janelle Boldt (Brandon) of Davenport, Iowa, Jared Boldt (Elizabeth) of Davenport, Iowa and Jorden Boldt (Chelsey) of Davenport, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kylie Boldt, Kaylee Wulf, Charles Boldt, Everett Boldt and Margaret Boldt; his great grandchild Ava; his sister Janet Porstmann of Blue Grass; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Boldt of Chapin and Wanda Boldt of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; his nephew Jake Peeters (Missy); and his niece Tara Peeters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Scott County 4-H in Jerry's name, an organization that Jerry cared deeply about.
