He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Behnke and Anna Behnke (Vaudt); his mother-in-law Merna S. Gimm; his daughters, Cheryl Behnke of West Burlington and Marsha Sterner (Tim) of Durant; his grandsons, Dan Sterner (Audra) of Durant and Adam Sterner (Autum) of Durant; his great grandchild Ellie; his close friend Glenda Sorgenfrey of Durant; his pet Jake; and his sister Elaine Schmeling.
