We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2019, at the age of 91, Dorothy Bland (Durant, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Arp and Ella Arp (Stuehm); her spouse Harlen "Boots" Bland; her daughter-in-law Sandy Bland; and her siblings, Minnie Weih and Rollo Arp.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Bland (Becky) of Des Moines, Denis Bland (Kerri) of Bettendorf, Gary Bland and Kevin Bland (Amanda) of Durant; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrea, Racheal, Hannah, Nicole, Alex, Kendra, Josh, Kristopher and Aubrey; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Korynn, Alivia, Mason, Brynlee, Ethan, Cooper, Kalvin, Malachi and Foster.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association in her memory.
