Schlueter of Durant, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schlueter and Ella Schlueter (Brandt); and his sister Doreen Jarck. He is survived by: his wife Carol Petersen; his children, Jeffrey Schlueter (Lynn) of Davenport and Julie Rivera (Jason Daily) of Durant; his grandsons, Ryan Schlueter (Linsey), Matt Schlueter (Lauren) and Payton Rivera (Anna); his great grandchildren, Nellie and Otto Rivera; his brother-in-law Larry Jarck of Wilton; his brother Harold; and his sister-in-law Elgeva Petersen of Durant. He is also survived by his niece, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Durant Cemetery Association or the Durant Education Foundation.
